All duties and responsibilities required for this position was already applied exactly in my previous company in 10th of Ramadan city industrial zone during 4 years by me 2004-2008 in a leading Egyptian manufacturer of very high- quality carton corrugated boxes with the latest technology, fastest production line in the Middle East 350m/min. ,150 employees ,producing 1200/2200 tons/ month.

Also in my recent position in plant in Ramadan city industrial zone manufacturing water proofing bituminous membrane for local and international market , we export to 50 countries all over the world, production capacity 75000 tons,126 employees.

In both plants I insist to maintain quality and quantity control, ensure on time delivery, to achieve customer satisfaction.
Minimize waste, cost, and break down time take first attention from me.

Both plants has up to date laboratory to apply tests according to ASTM,EN standards.
Tests like thickness, tensile stress, tear resistance, cold flexibility, and puncture resistance etc.
Traceability system enables to trace products and investigate complaints.


I have a very high level of Leadership, I am Initiative, and have high physical fitness.
I pay a very high attention to production, waste savings, get out maximum output of employees, use scientific way (NCR, 6sigma, 6 big losses, 80/20 rule, OEE, work according to ISO9001, apply strictly OHSAS 18001, ISO22000 to achieve company target and apply company policy .


Most of my service years working with other nationalities, Czechoslovaks during my study in the college, Russians after graduation, then after2years with Americans, Britches, French then in Saudi Arabia all my bosses were Europeans. My subordinates were Indians, Bengalis, Nepalese, Sri Lankan, Pakis, Philippines, Arabs, Chines, and Koreans.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

From 2010 till now plant manager

One year as general manager in a group of 3 sister companies, first company recycles plastic , supply it to my plant to be used in the mix to produce bituminous waterproofing membrane , 2nd company manufactures foam sheets, polyester sheets be used in my plant as a carrier in producing bituminous membrane.

Factories are close to each other in 10TH of Ramadan city industrial zone.

Bitumen is mixed with recycled plastic and caco3 as filler in a suitable temp., finally will give the membrane.


I was chosen by owner to increase productivity (from 5000 rolls*10m length to 6000/ day, now 6200), decrease waste (it was 10% now 4:5%), increase OEE .
My company is certified with :
CE Mark, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS18001, Quality License (ASTM) mark from EOS.

Our products are exported to 50 countries USA, INDIA, KENYA, SENIGAL, and most of Arab countries and others.
We import from 23 countries:
PE film from Cartenplast Italy(hundreds of tons)
Shrinkable packing bags from Saudi Arabia, Italy.
Polyster/Freudenberg Politex s.r.l/Italy, France, Russia, USA, China, Belgium, Korea, Spain and Germany.

Manufacturing Processes

Corrugating, splicing, knife cutting, down stacking, converting, printing, folding, bundling, stretching, and loading.

A- Corrugating
Starts from paper roll(3tons) ends with a corrugated board with required length, width, thickness, weight, test parameters ….etc
Corrugators machine with length 107 meters.

B- Converting and printing
Converting machine to convert the corrugated board to folded boxes, with required dimensions and required printing (logo) up to 5 colors.

C- Folding, packing
Boxes are folded, covered by stretch, put on pallets, ready for transportation.

A complete fire fighting system is installed, including:
water tanks, pipes, hoses, fire distinguishers, fire alarm system, water gun, diesel water pump, jockey pump,………etc.

** Maintenance for all equipment from fire extinguisher to corrugators is done EXACTLY on time (no exception) as in the MAINTENACE PLAN which is taken from manufacturer manuals.

** All maintenance manuals are converted to pdf format as pdf format is searchable, easy to read, and is audible…. etc.

** Waste Minimization (waste=paper, starch, water) is very important as it minimizes cost, save time, minimize store area ….etc.


From 2004 till 2007 Engineering&Maintenance Dept. manager
